The Events page on your website is a place to promote every event your church hosts. Offer details about seasonal events – including festivals, holiday concerts and activities – along with information about special services, dinners and more.

  • Food Shelf Volunteer Shift

    Join us at Vanco Valley to help package up food shelf donations for families in need. This shift will help put together boxes of non-perishable donations we’ve collected for local families. Boxes will be picked up on Sunday afternoon.

    Our weekly Bible study classes have moved online! We will hold virtual study sessions every Wednesday and Friday evening beginning at 7 p.m.

One benefit of the Events page is you can introduce eGiving ahead of time. If you plan to sell tickets online or have a mobile card reader available, include that in the event description. People will know they won’t have to stop to get cash and can use their credit or debit card to pay or donate instead. 

  • Assign a person (or a few people) to be responsible for updating this page each month.

  • Add a link to your donations or payment page in the event description to let people know they can donate or pay online ahead of time. 

  • More is better! Include more than just the name and time of the event. Share more details to drive interest in your event and increase participation. 

Keep in mind that members and visitors will come here to see events you’re hosting in the future. If you don’t regularly update this page to add events and remove old ones, people won’t know what to expect.
